Peter J. McEvoy, Principal
Peter qualified in 1994 and joined the firm in 2000 when it then became Fitzpatrick Gallagher McEvoy Solicitors. Peter has worked in private practice for 11 years, having previously worked in the Office of the Chief State Solicitor and the Legal Aid Board. Peter specialises in commercial property, banking law, family law and admiralty.
Fergus J. Gallagher, Consultant
Fergus qualified in 1995 and founded the firm in 1996 as Fitzpatrick & Gallagher. Fergus specialises in commercial litigation, asset recovery, debt collection and insolvencies and has extensive experience both practical and advisory in these areas. Fergus has acted in a number of high profile insolvency cases before the Courts and has advised in relation to bankruptcy matters and bankruptcy petitions before the High Court. Fergus holds a diploma in Commercial Litigation from the Law Society of Ireland and was admitted to the roll of Solicitors in 1995. Fergus Gallagher has worked in private practice for many years and is a current member of the board of the National Consumer Agency and is the current Dublin County Sheriff and Returning Officer
John M. Fitzpatrick, Consultant
John established the firm in 1977 and was a partner in the firm until 2001. John has acted in a number of ground breaking cases before the Courts and is a current member of the Superior Courts Practice and Procedure Committee and continues to work with the administrative team. John is a former Dublin County Sheriff and Returning Officer for the Dublin County Constituencies and is now a consultant to Fitzpatrick Gallagher McEvoy Solicitors.
